Northern Territory Classrooms

Northern Transportables was engaged to design and construct classrooms across several locations in the Northern Territory. Each project presented unique challenges that our team skilfully managed, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery without disrupting daily school operations.

Our comprehensive approach began with relocating classrooms between various schools and undertaking detailed design work. We coordinated multiple builds and relocations simultaneously, storing the classrooms in our yard for a period to streamline the project. We manufactured the classrooms at our East Arm Facility, ready for dispatch, and secured local authority approvals for delivery and installation. Detailed coordination with stakeholders was crucial throughout the process.

We transported the buildings to remote locations and prepared civil works to receive them. The installation of the buildings was carefully managed, including the addition of disabled ramps and connection pathways. We ensured all necessary service connections were in place and obtained occupancy approvals.

Finally, we commissioned a turnkey solution, delivering classrooms of exceptionally high quality that marked a significant advancement from traditional demountable classrooms. The team at Northern Transportables is proud of the successful outcomes achieved in each location.
