Thompson Local Housing

The Thompson project represents a bold adaptation of our established Finnis design, scaled up to a Maxi version. Designed to deliver more internal space while maintaining flexibility and style, this home reflects the strength of modular building in meeting unique client needs.

The layout was expanded with internal modules of 4.2 metres in width, resulting in a spacious 14.4 × 12.6 metre footprint. At the front, a 14.4 × 3 metre verandah creates a welcoming entry and provides a comfortable outdoor living area. This balance of internal and external zones ensures the home feels expansive while still connected to its natural surroundings.

Inside, the Thompson features generous living and kitchen spaces designed for easy flow and functionality. Large bedrooms and versatile interiors provide room for family life, entertaining, or simply enjoying the extra space this Maxi design offers. Every module is engineered for comfort and built to Northern Transportables’ high standards.
