Prefabricated from the ground up, our buildings are delivered Australia-wide directly from Northern Transportables using our fleet of prime movers and trailers.
Not only will we design, construct and deliver your custom-building needs, we will prepare sites for their installation, undertaking demolition works and waste disposal, ensuring environmental protection measures are in place and implementing stringent safety management plans. We will obtain all the requisite permits and approvals and arrange compliance inspections. As highly experienced project managers, we will coordinate trades people and other experts, fit-out and furnish your building and provide ongoing repairs and maintenance services. We offer a genuine one-stop-shop, ensuring our clients can focus on their core business.
Develop & Design
Northern Transportables’ expert drafting team will transform your concept and specifications into a detailed design for review, integrating the most advanced technologies and systems. Whether you are wanting to buy a custom building or hire existing stock, we will make the design modifications to better meet your needs, capitalise on the specific site conditions or to incorporate new ideas and technologies. All our designs are compliant with relevant construction standards and best practice, so you can feel confident in your investment.
Manufacture
Once the building design and engineering specifications have been finalised, we will commence fabrication from the ground up, ensuring performance and quality are monitored every step of the way. Our disciplined, adept and fastidious team of trades people use only high-grade materials to craft your building products to ensure they are well-constructed and meet agreed timelines.
Delivery & Transport
Using our own fleet of prime movers and trailers, the transportable buildings will be delivered by our expert pilots to the installation site. We will explore any logistical challenges and community priorities in advance, to ensure a smooth, safe, unimpeded and uneventful delivery. We have delivered our buildings all over northern Australia – on unsealed roads, in very remote locations and even via barge.
Site Works & Installation
Our team is proficient in all site preparation activities, including demolition, waste disposal, recycling, installation of environmental protection measures, protection of cultural and sacred sites, surveying, footing construction, installation of services (water, power, waste water disposal) and the activation of safety management plans. Northern Transportables deploys highly experienced site supervisors to oversee and coordinate the installation of your building/s, managing and monitoring for safety, quality and compliance. Where possible, we recruit local labour to create employment and training opportunities. Our streamlined and integrated services save time and create efficiencies that benefit our clients and the communities in which they may live.
